The purpose of this job is to develop and maintain sales relationship with existing and prospecting customers by responding to their specific demands while generating sales revenue for the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify new sales opportunities in existing and prospecting customers;
- Cold calling to generate new leads and accounts;
- Work closely with operations to ensure customer satisfaction;
- Maximize sales opportunities by exceeding sales goals;
- Align sales with Axsun’s emerging markets; and
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to reinforce customer loyalty.
- Strong interpersonal skills – must be able to negotiate and close deals
- Strong leadership and problem solving;
- Knowledge of both LTL and full load truck shipments;
- Logistics and/or transportation experience is an asset
- University degree is an asset
